A passion for young adult literature and the ability to work well with teenagers and teachers are essential.
Library experience and qualifications are an advantage.
Wellington High School is a large school with adiverse student population.
The Library is an important, dynamic and well used hub for students in class time, during breaks and after school.
The successful applicant will be someone who thrives in a busy work environment, works well as part of a team and can manage their workload independently.
They will enjoy a front line service role and have the confidence to take on sole management of the Library for an hour after school each day.
This is a permanent, part time position for 17.5 hours per week (term-time only 1pm - 4.30pm daily Monday-Friday).
It is governed by the terms of theSupport Staff in Schools Collective Agreement.
