We have an exciting opportunity for a food technology & hospitality specialist to join our Y9–13 team.Our hospitality program is a core part of our senior school and the successful candidate will need to be able to teach Hospitality through to NCEA Level 3.We are looking for a Kaiako who is culturally aware and will enjoy working within a modern learning environment with a focus on akonga centred learning.The position will be tailored to fit the experience level of the preferred applicant.
Non-trained teachers are welcome to apply and full support will be given to process a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT).
The successful candidate will have : A degree qualification or equivalent.Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability and confidence teaching Y9–13.Ability to teach to NCEA Level 3 hospitalityExperience with planning and delivering integrated learning programmes for Y9–10.A commitment to providing extra curricular opportunities for akonga.Sound organisational skills and details-oriented approach.Excellent time management skills.Sound communication skills to support akonga, whanau and Kaimahi.To apply, send a cover letter and current curriculum vitae via email to Jodi Brown at
