Freelance Data Engineer

This remote contract role offers an opportunity to play a key part in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and services on the Azure platform. The position focuses on integrating data from diverse sources, enhancing data performance, and supporting analytics and AI‑driven initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with a global team to deliver robust data solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data models to support analytics and machine learning workflows
• Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines and version control for data engineering projects
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver data solutions that meet project requirements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipeline performance and reliability
• Support the deployment and maintenance of data services in a cloud environment
