Social Sciences Teacher – Geography or Psychology Specialist

Our client is a coeducational secondary school in Auckland seeking a NZ-registered Social Science Teacher with a specialism in Geography or Psychology, for a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be employed under the terms of the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement.

Applicants must be New Zealand residents or have a strong likelihood of obtaining a work visa quickly.

A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, with a major in Geography or Psychology, is essential.

The successful candidate will teach their specialist subject at senior levels (Years 11–13) and Social Studies at junior levels (Years 9–10).

The school seeks a collaborative, effective classroom practitioner committed to student success and active participation in the wider school community.

Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and provisionally certificated or newly qualified teachers.
