Bas Senior Manager / Associate Director - Future Partnership

Overview

Our client has built a fantastic reputation in the CA space within Central Otago and continues to grow.

They are looking to add to their Queenstown team at a higher type level and seek an experienced and skilled accountant for a BAS Senior Manager / Associate Director level role.

Someone currently at the high Senior or Manager level will also be considered if ambitious and driven.

There is a long-term pathway for progression through to Partnership.

You will have a minimum of 6 years accounting experience, with the majority of this experience from New Zealand companies.

Responsibilities

Take a significant workload of client matters and manage as a senior member of the team.

Manage budgets and forecasts, using Excel and other financial tools with strong commercial acumen.

Apply critical thinking to handle complex work and provide practical solutions.

Lead and mentor a team, while maintaining strong client-facing relationships and responding to challenging questions.

Qualifications

CA qualification is expected for this role.

Experience with Xero and other software is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team and engage clients effectively.
