With a showroom in Auckland and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Timaru, we collaborate with the Design and Architecture industry throughout New Zealand and beyond.Role Overview : We are seeking a talented and passionate individual with a depth of experience to help take our Product Development to the next level.As Industrial Designer, you will use your experience and energy to pick up design concepts from our Creative Director and work along with our inhouse team to deliver production ready products.As a core part of our development team you will collaborate with the available experience and skills we have inhouse and draw on external support where needed to ensure projects are kept on schedule.

Our Production facility in Timaru includes a wide range of disciplines across Solid Timber manufacture, Joinery, Upholstery, Engineering and Steel & Wood Finishing.

This enables us to react and prototype quickly and expedite our entire Product Design process.You will work closely with our production team to understand our processes while collaborating with suppliers and contractors to ensure completed designs are always exceptional.Responsibilities : Concept development in collaboration with our Creative DirectorDeveloping design concepts into market ready solutionsDeveloping construction and manufacturing methods to ensure production ready productsCollaborating and mentoring design team through all product design decisions.About you : You'll have experience working within a Product Development environment.Be a passionate and creative individual with a discerning eye for exceptional design.Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to see projects through from concept to completion without compromising on quality.Qualification in Industrial or Product DesignHave sound understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.Passionate about product design and the design-led interiors market.If you are a visionary individual who thrives on bringing innovative design concepts to life, we invite you to join our team and make a lasting impact on the interiors industry.
