Construction Manager

Our client, a leading construction company in New Zealand , are seeking Construction Managers with Highways Maintenance experience to work out of regional teams across the country. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of projects across capital works, minor works, and commercial sectors within the civil industry.

Your focus will be on strengthening our client’s pavements team and identifying new growth opportunities in other civil construction areas. With a strong upcoming pipeline of projects, you’ll work closely with the commercial and tendering teams to secure future work aligned with the strategy.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on capital works.
• An understanding of technical, contractual, and financial aspects of construction and maintenance contracts.
• Experience in tendering, commercial management, budgeting, P&L oversight, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful team.
