Wellington Base Intercity Driver

The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for confident Intercity Drivers to join our team based in Wellington!

With summer coming up, we’re expanding our team and looking for casual drivers to help keep our services running smoothly.

If you hold a Class 4 licence (minimum) and have great communication skills, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be an integral part of your community and play a key role in supporting the tourism industry too!

Pay for this role depends on what service you're on- however you could be earning up to $34p / h!

Team Ritchies

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country.

We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

You’re prepared to work weekends and stay away from home overnight, depending on tour durations. You take pride in your appearance and can communicate confidently with people from all walks of life.

Your Skills

• Great communicator and capable of delivering commentary
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20kgs
• NZ Class 4 license (minimum)
• P endorsement
• Can operate manual transmission
