    As Team Leader – Workplace Services based in either our Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch office, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and effective workplace operations across 50+ offices, supporting thousands of employees. This includes managing fleet, travel, and commercial property operations.

    Joining our collaborative Finance team, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team of Advisors, drive continuous improvement in workplace services and manage complex projects such as office relocations and refurbishments. Your work will directly contribute to creating environments where our people can thrive and deliver on Kāinga Ora’s mission.

    Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in property, facilities management, or business
    • Experience leading and managing large teams
    • Managing workplace operations in a large, complex organisation
    • Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and best practices in workplace safety
    • Ability to manage complex projects such as office relocations and refurbishments.
    • Strong skills in budgeting, procurement, and contract negotiation
    • Proficiency in workplace technology solutions and digital communication tools
    • Commercial property experience would be advantageous
    • Experience working in the public sector would be advantageous
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure
    • Solutions focused and proactive
    • Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships
    • Collaborative and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
    • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement
