Manager, Audit

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Audit to lead, direct and deliver our comprehensive internal audit and claims assurance programmes. Sitting within the Risk and Assurance team, this role provides independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance, and insurer compliance. You’ll also oversee and support a team of Internal Auditors and Quality Analysts to deliver high-quality audit and assurance outcomes across NHC Toka Tū Ake.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of NHC Toka Tū Ake’s audit and claims assurance programmes.
• Provide independent assurance over the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance.
• Oversee the delivery of quality assurance across the claims function and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and private insurers to ensure effective engagement and collaboration.
• Represent the Audit and Quality Assurance teams, maintaining high professional standards and credibility across the organisation.
