The opportunity

Naylor Love is seeking a dynamic Design and Construct Manager to lead our national Design and Construct (D&C) portfolio and drive excellence across our pre-construction operations . This role will be the heart of our pre-construction strategy, guiding a talented team of design managers, cost planners, and technical specialists. You will work closely with regional teams, clients, consultants, and industry partners to deliver smart, sustainable, and high-performing projects. From feasibility planning to final delivery, you'll be the driving force behind our design and construct success.

Responsibilities and requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following :

• Bachelor-level qualification such as a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Construction or similar. (Essential)
• 15+ years experience working for a Main Contractor in Commercial Construction. (Preferred)
• A proven track record of successful delivery in commercial construction, design and project management roles in a Main Contractor environment. (Essential)
• Strong pre-construction expertise in a Main Contractor environment.
• Excellent leadership capability and expertise to develop future talent.
• Strong pre-construction knowledge in a Main Contractor environment.
• Outstanding business development capability and network.
• Strong commercial acumen and risk assessment skills.
• Stakeholder management and relationship building capability.
