Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato is excited to invite candidates to submit an Expression of Interest for the Storeperson Wards position.
We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic professional who is passionate about making a difference that can contribute to our busy supply chain team by ensuring that consumable items are readily available for our clinicians and patients when required.
About the Role
As a Storeperson, reporting to the Distribution Manager Wards & Community, you will be enthusiastic, detailed and customer service oriented.
Operating within the Supply Chain Inventory Services guidelines and processes, you will be responsible for working with a team ensuring that the theatres, wards, clinics, fixed storage and mobile storage units are holding the required stocks on a day-to-day basis.

About the Team
Our team is a part of the Waikato Supply Chain team, you will be working closely with the wider Waikato Inventory and Distribution team, providing support to the Wards and Community distribution team where required.
You will be working closely with other distribution staff, clinicians, our supply chain inventory and clinical product teams to make sure that stock is readily available when required.
About you
As Storeperson in a hospital environment, you must have great attention to detail understanding the importance of accurate inventory management in a healthcare setting and how it can directly affect patient outcomes.
