Freelance Video Editor – Health Animation

This role involves editing and animating YouTube videos focused on health education, specifically breast cancer awareness and information. The content is designed to make complex medical topics accessible and engaging for a broad audience, including patients and the general public. The project is remote, with the potential for ongoing collaboration beyond the initial assignment.

Deliverables

Edit 8–12 minute YouTube videos on breast cancer topics, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Incorporate animations and motion graphics to illustrate key health concepts and data.
Align video style and pacing with reference content, such as Dr. Tasha’s YouTube channel.
Collaborate on script timing, visual storytelling, and overall video flow.
Deliver high-quality, ready-to-publish videos optimized for YouTube.
Respond to feedback and make revisions as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing for YouTube or similar platforms, ideally with health or educational content.

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and animation tools (e.g., After Effects).

Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.

Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible visuals.

Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.

Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.

Portfolio demonstrating relevant video editing and animation work.
