Responsibilities

Execute manual and functional testing across web and API layers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments

Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA

Validate business rules related to NZ Payroll, Billing, and HR compliance

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Ensure cross-browser compatibility using tools like Browser Stack

Maintain and manage test cases using X-ray or similar test management tools

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Manual / Functional Tester in Fintech or Insurance domains

Strong understanding of NZ Payroll, Billing systems, or HR legislation

Proficiency in API testing and bug-tracking tools like JIRA

Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and practices

Experience with Browser Stack and X-ray is a plus

Excellent communication and documentation skills

A proactive mindset with a passion for quality assurance
