The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role offers flexible working hours of 20 hours per week (4 hours per day), with several scheduling options to suit your lifestyle :
Monday to Friday
Tuesday to Saturday
Sunday to Thursday
Some occasional weekend work may be required.

An experienced OHN looking for a new opportunity
A Registered Nurse (RN) interested in transitioning to an in-house Occupational Health Nursing role
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the People & Safety team and operational managers
Conduct pre-employment medical assessments
Coordinate and deliver annual health monitoring for employees
Perform drug and alcohol testing as required (pre-employment; random; reasonable cause; post-incident)
Manage proactive return-to-work plans in collaboration with managers and employees
Provide walk-in medical consults
Support and foster the workplace First Aider community
Coordinate and administer workplace vaccinations (e.g., seasonal flu)
Carry out ergonomic and manual handling assessments
Plan, promote, and support workplace health initiatives (e.g., warm-ups, safe movement principles)
Work alongside the Head of People & Safety to identify risks and implement proactive, solutions-focused measures
You Will Have
Occupational Health Nurse experience preferred (but not essential)
Experience in manual handling assessments
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BHSc – Nursing)
Current Annual Practising Certificate
Drug & Alcohol testing qualification (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, especially within a culturally diverse workforce
Strong computer literacy – confident using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
A genuine commitment to the health and safety of all employees
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to workplace wellbeing
A strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset
Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa, and currently reside in New Zealand
