Montessori‑Inspired ECE teacher Christchurch – full‑time. Due to one of our valued teachers relocating overseas, Abacus Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated qualified and registered teacher to join our close‑knit team for a full‑time position.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a Montessori‑inspired environment that values respectful, child‑led practice and supports tamariki through their natural development. We are a small, family‑owned centre, deeply committed to providing a nurturing, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared environment for our tamariki.

Essential Criteria

• Values Montessori philosophy and a respectful, unhurried approach to care
• Understands the importance of strong, authentic relationships with tamariki, whānau and the local community
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and effective communication skills
• Is committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
• Is collaborative, flexible and contributes positively to team culture
• Holds provisional or full teacher registration
• Has NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (Living in New Zealand)
