We’re a global facilities services business with 120,000 colleagues and 8,000 customers across the UK, Europe, APAC and Middle East regions.

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for crafting winning proposals? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy driving business growth through high-impact bids? OCS is looking for a talented Bids Specialist to join our Business Development & Sales team, supporting our Central and Southern Regions.

About the role

As a key member of our ANZ Bids Team, you’ll lead end-to-end bid processes, from opportunity identification and strategy development to proposal writing, production and post-bid reviews. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, operations and marketing to deliver compelling, compliant and customer-focused submissions that help us win and retain business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead bid strategy, planning and execution across Central and Southern Regions
  • Facilitate workshops to develop win themes and value propositions
  • Coordinate inputs from sales and operations teams to ensure proposals are accurate and aligned with client needs and reflect operational capabilities
  • Write, edit and manage high-quality proposal content
  • Coordinate internal and external debriefs to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain bid library and marketing collateral including capability statements and case studies
  • Support opportunity tracking and capture planning
  • Act as a Salesforce superuser for bid-related data and reporting.

What you’ll bring

  • 2–5 years’ experience in bid management, proposal writing or a similar role, ideally within a services industry
  • Proven success in increasing bid win rates through strategic submissions
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams; Salesforce and InDesign experience a plus
  • A solution-focused mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Why join OCS?

At OCS, we’re committed to delivering essential services that “make people and places the best they can be”. You’ll be part of a supportive, values-driven team with extensive experience managing and winning bids across New Zealand and Australia. We offer flexible working arrangements and a culture that celebrates collaboration and innovation.

OCS is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
