Carpenter / Structures Handyperson

We’re looking for a practical, reliable person to carry out scheduled and reactive structural repairs and maintenance across Far North District Council facilities — from park structures and playgrounds to community buildings, public toilets and everything in between.

You’ll use your trade skills to keep vital community assets safe, functional, and looking their best. Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a supportive local team that values safety, quality, and initiative.

If you’re a qualified carpenter or experienced all‑rounder who enjoys hands‑on work and problem‑solving, this is a great opportunity to build a stable career in a role that genuinely supports your community.
