This regional role offers the opportunity to drive safety excellence across our regional operations while implementing integrated SHEQ systems and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.What's on offerRegional H&S role : 50% travel (Queenstown / Hawkes Bay / Papakura)Drive safety excellence with a competitive package and career developmentMake a difference - work with a global leader in environmental servicesWhat you'll be responsible forExecute regional SHEQ programs and conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and integrated audits across regional operationsMonitor compliance with H&S legislation and maintain safety management systems, including ISO 45001 and integrated management systemsManage regional incident reporting processes and coordinate with regulatory bodies, including WorkSafe and environmental regulatorsDeliver SHEQ training, toolbox talks, and support H&S committee meetings while building AlwaysSafe CultureConduct internal audits, prepare regional RSHEQ reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operationsProvide technical SHEQ advice and coach operational teams and regional advisors in safety leadership and quality managementWhat You'll Need to be SuccessfulDiploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalentH&S experience, preferably in utilities, industrial or energy sectorsStrong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation and safety management systemsWillingness to travelAbout VeoliaWith over 170 years of global experience, Veolia operates in more than 40 countries with 220,000 employees worldwide.
