This is a wonderful opportunity to use your inpatient experience to work alongside the multi-disciplinary team in this busy hospital setting.
This role will likely sit within our medical wards with some outpatient clinic time as well.
Specific acute wards will be allocated depending on candidates experience and interest.
Part of this role is based at the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit, one of the 2 specialised services in NZ for people with Spinal Cord Injury.The ideal applicant is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment, has great communication skills, able to think outside the box, efficient in time management, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focussed team.
You will also be involved with dietetic student training and encouraged to participate in service development and project work.Employment package includes the refund of your annual practicing certificate, support towards the cost of your Dietitians New Zealand subscription and a personal study allowance.
