Van Driver / Storeperson

Invercargill

Permanent, Part-time (15 hours per week)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday shifts

NZRC offers a total remuneration approach of $58,146 for this role (pro-rata to 15 hours per week), which comprises base salary as well as employer contribution to KiwiSaver. While remuneration rates are set to reflect that we are a humanitarian not for profit organisation, we believe our employee leave provision and flexible working arrangements provide a highly rewarding work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.
• Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the Shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.
• Complete electrical test and tagging on electrical donated goods (training provided)
• Check and maintain the vehicle you are driving to ensure compliance and road worthiness.
• Keep New Zealand Red Cross informed of any issues promptly.
• Follow New Zealand Red Cross health, safety and wellbeing guidelines.
• Assist with work in the shops as required.
