About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance

The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network.

The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system.

The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity to lead the scheduling and programming of works for the ASM alliance and make your mark on Auckland's motorway and state highway network.

As our Delivery Optimisation Manager, you will lead a close-knit team and support them in identifying and implementing efficient programming methodologies, to optimise delivery of all works.

Your focus will be on process optimisation and collaborative planning, to boost productivity, enhance value for money, reduce customer disruptions, and enhance delivery efficiency and outcomes.

What you will be doing :

As a leader within our organisation, you will be responsible for championing customer-first optimisation and embedding customer-centric principles into all planning.

You will also be responsible for :

Maximising location-based planning to minimise dispatches and disruptions

Improving business processes through collaboration

Assessing program risks and mapping out success pathways

Advocating for proactive planning to deliver better customer outcomes

Supporting teams to optimise dispatches and meeting targets

Solving problems innovatively to deliver ASM values, KRAs, and KPIs

Advocating practical health & safety initiatives

Above all, you will foster a "team of teams" culture within your team, by actively encouraging cross-department collaboration.

You will build capability and create growth opportunities, to support the engagement and development of your team.

About You :

Our ideal candidate will be a well-rounded leader, with the following experience and skills :

5 years' relevant industry experience.

Relevant STEM tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.

Proven organisational and planning skills.

Demonstrated programming ability.

Experience within road maintenance.

You must be a passionate leader, who prioritises the safety and wellbeing of your team and is committed to delivering excellent results for our customers and community.
