Based at their residential home in Burnside Christchurch, you will help empower our kiritaki / clients to achieve independence, inclusion and quality of life after a brain injury. You will work as part of a team, where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to positively impact people's lives while making a difference.
Mau - You will
- Work in partnership with kiritaki applying coaching skills to maximise independence, encourage choice, initiation, and participation in activity, adhering at all times to the values of the organisation and active support principles
- Provide assistance with personal support (daily cares) and other daily living tasks this will involve all aspects of personal cares, including hoisting, bowel cares, and administering medications are per LFBIT policy
- Training also provided to support high needs cares such as PEG / PEJ and tracheostomy cares
