About The Role

Have you recently graduated - or are about to -graduate with a Bachelor of Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification and want to launch your career in the renewable energy industry?

Are you excited about being “hands on” designing and testing Enphase hardware to its limits? Do you love challenges and enjoy drilling down on design issues to resolution whether that is in test software, hardware or firmware?

What You Will Do

• You will be part of a team working in a fast-paced, well equipped lab environment developing and testing micro-inverter products. Developing your skills in board level designs, test design, fault diagnosis, debugging and problem solving.
• You will work on firmware, hardware, test automation, product validation, compliance, custom ASICs and advanced power electronics.
• You will be focused on developing and testing micro-inverters on the tech bench or using Python test automation scripts.
• This role will have you working in cross functional teams working with senior hardware, firmware and test automation engineers.

Enphase Energy New Zealand is located in Wigram, Christchurch. We are a Research and Development Centre focused on the design and testing of our cornerstone product, the Microinverter. Enphase New Zealand has a team of around 120 plus engineers and support staff.
