Oratia School is looking for an inspiring kaiako to join our Tuakana (Y5–6) team.

We are looking for a teacher who :

• Has strong structured literacy and numeracy pedagogy and a willingness to keep learning.
• Shows strengths or an interest in Māori, Reo and Tikanga, Pasifika, Music or Enviro
• Builds positive, meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and staff and has effective behaviour‑management strategies to support positive learning environments.
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a dedicated team.
• Thinks critically and creatively about teaching and learning
