Responsibilities

  • Drive Quality Strategy : Take a lead role in planning, designing, and implementing effective testing strategies for new features and products.
  • Build Robust Automation : Design, develop, and maintain our scalable test automation suite using modern frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Collaborate and Embed : Work as a true partner within your cross-functional squad, collaborating daily with developers and product managers in planning, design, and code review sessions.
  • Champion "Shift-Left" Testing : Proactively identify quality risks early in the development process, influencing design and requirements long before code is written.
  • Coach and Empower : Act as the team\'s quality conscience, mentoring developers on writing effective unit and integration tests and championing a "whole team" approach to quality.
  • Innovate and Improve : Continuously refine our quality processes and enhance the integration of automated testing within our CI / CD pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Proven Test Automation Expertise : Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Strong Coding Foundations : Proficiency in a programming language used for testing (C# / .NET highly desirable). You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • CI / CD Pipeline Integration : Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • API Testing Experience : Practical experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar.
  • Bonus : Exposure to performance / load testing tools such as NBomber, JMeter, or K6.
