  • Permanent part-time position – 0.6 FTE

About The Role

The main purpose of this position is to schedule patients appropriately for clinic appointments at Tauranga Hospital in line with the Ministry of Health requirements.

This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to problem solve and think outside the box. It is an important part of a team who work closely together and with multiple stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.

It will also require a high level of flexibility as it will be providing support across the whole Paediatric scheduling team as required.

About You

To be successful in this position :

  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in an administrative position.
  • You will have comprehensive knowledge of patient information systems.
  • You will be a strong communicator both in verbal and written communication while having well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a health setting is desirable.
  • Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable, motivated and efficient.
