For our busy  Takeaway in the Edgecumbe,  , to work as a shift supervisor prepared to work on flexible hours .

This is a fulltime permanent position

Hours of work : Minimum 3 0 – 35 hours  (as rostered) must be prepared to work in the weekends and public holidays .

Place of Employment : Edgecumbe

Wages : from $25.00 - $28 an hour based on skill s and experience.

Skills Required : ​Preferred applicant with a tertiary qualification and / or minimum of 1-years’ work experience in the hospitality industry.

Job Description :

• ​Assist Manager in ordering supplies, in budgeting, stocktaking, maximising profitability, working along with the cook for variation in takeaway orders .
• Must have good communication skills and customer relations.
• Ability in handling financial transactions and maintaining financial records
• Assist in training junior staff
• Ensuring food safety & health safe ty compliance standards are maintained.
• Ability to work with c ook on Menu planning, food costing
• Updating menus,
• Running promotion and specials using business website and social media
• Assist with outside catering set up.
