Hourly paid summer contract (20-30 hours per week from 12 January to 20 February 2026; HTA salary band commensurate with experience) at AUT's South Campus (Manukau)
AUT's Office of Pacific Advancement is looking for Teaching Assistants (TA) from across AUT's academic disciplines to implement Uni101 - the academic course component of UniPrep 2026. Uni101 within the UniPrep programme is designed to support academic preparedness for Māori and Pacific high school leavers transitioning to university.
Responsibilities
Honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Aronui : AUT's Te Tiriti framework, and centres ancestral knowledge from across Te Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa
Qualifications
Teaching Assistants report to the UniPrep 101 Cohort Lead and are a key member of the wider UniPrep team.

This role is considered a children's worker role and will be subject to safety checking as part of the Children's Act 2014.
