Client Marketing & Events Executive - Toitu Envirocare

The opportunity

We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented marketing and events professional to lead the delivery of Toitu's event programme.

You'll play a vital role in creating meaningful connections with our certified clients, partners, and wider community through impactful experiences that celebrates their achievements and shares our expertise.

As part of our marketing team, your work will support Toitu's client experience, thought leadership, and business development goals.

This role is full-time and based in our Auckland office, with occasional travel required for event delivery.

Key responsibilities

Develop and manage an annual event programme that delivers strategic results.

Manage logistics, budgets, suppliers, stakeholders and brand collateral of events.

End-to-end delivery of in-person and online events, including promotion.

Forge strong internal relationships and support Toitu's team with their wider speaking opportunities.

Enhance the Toitu brand through event asset creation (e.g. presentations, banners and EDM's).

Support the marketing team as required to deliver on our strategic priorities.

Write compelling copy to promote Toitu in the market.

Coordinate our client survey, capture and analyse feedback (incl. NPS)

Hold knowledge on climate claims best practices and support our clients in making credible claims.

Manage marketing enquires.

About you

You have a passion for events and their ability to forge meaningful connections.

Skills and experience

3+ year's event management and project management experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, events or similar

Proven track record delivering events to meet strategic objectives

Experience making technical information accessible and engaging

Proficient in Adobe Design Suite or similar, especially InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro

Exceptional multitasking skills, with an attention to detail

Experience producing annual feedback surveys

Good all-round marketing and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong soft skills, experienced people person

Preferred

Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, and Salesforce

Familiarity with marketing performance metrics (e.g. NPS)

Experience in sustainability, climate, or professional services sectors
