My client is seeking a Store Manager to join their business at any of their South Auckland based retail stores!

$75k-$85k base salary

Tuesday-Saturday roster with NO LATE NIGHTS

Opportunity to learn an entirely new retail sector & upskill across all elements of retail management including P&L & finance

Role responsibilities :

Nurturing and developing a high-performing team - upskilling team members and driving their performance on a daily basis, keeping in mind fun, engaging people-focused culture

Managing all financial operations including KPIs, finance, P&L, looking at how best to maximise GP%, lending rates & redemption rates

Leading by example with phenomenal customer service - driving your team to make customer-centric decisions and flourish in every interaction

Managing processes / compliance inline with industry specific laws

What they are looking for :

Fun, driven, engaged and down to earth individual with strong, respectful ethics in terms of people - you can not only engage with people from all walks of life, but really build connection with them

Strong experience within complex / technical retail management

Solid financial skills - experience / understanding of P&L, KPIs, margin, rostering etc

A strong, positive presence - you are a role model as a leader and do not hide behind the curtain - their Managers are non hierarchical and work extremely hard to set the example on the retail floor

Driven, emotionally mature & resilient individuals who can lead with empathy

Hard working, 'get your hands dirty' work ethic & leadership style
