Tow Truck Driver

Majhail Towing and Cars Limited is looking for two skilled and motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our professional team.

Pay Rate : $27 - $29 per hour (based on experience)Location : AucklandEmployment Type : Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles from breakdowns, accident scenes, and private properties.

Respond promptly to dispatch calls and customer requests.

Secure vehicles properly using towing equipment and safety chains.

Perform vehicle recovery and roadside assistance when required.

Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and service reports.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.

Follow all company policies, road safety, and compliance regulations.

Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.

Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.

Do general mechanical and car dismantling duties when required.

Requirements

Valid NZ Class 2 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent).

Hold forklift license or able to obtain

6 months experience or any level 2 qualifications.

Strong understanding of road safety and load securing requirements.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings and on-call shifts.

Must pass drug and alcohol testing.

Physically fit and capable of handling vehicle recovery tasks.

Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused attitude.
