A Day in the Life of a Media Search Analyst :

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of diverse task categories, including music, books, podcasts, video, and home pod evaluations across various media domains.
  • Analyze and evaluate search outcomes for App Store content, conduct online research to assess and validate query accuracy and intent, and apply market expertise to evaluate the relevance and purpose of task‑related information for your specific market.

Qualification Path :

No previous professional experience is required to apply. However, you will need to pass basic requirements and undergo a standard assessment process. This is a part‑time, long‑term project subject to our standard quality assurance checks throughout the agreement.

Basic Requirements :

  • An active Apple ID email address is essential.
  • Ownership of an Apple device and familiarity with Apple products.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Residency in New Zealand for at least one consecutive year.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of New Zealand business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural trends.
  • Interest in internet research and familiarity with trends in apps, music, and video.
  • Flexibility to work on varied task types, such as maps, news, audio, and relevance evaluations.
  • Access to a computer, broadband internet, and relevant software.
  • Independent work skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma or higher preferred; exceptional candidates without formal education will be considered.
  • Additional incentives provided throughout the assessment process.
  • Assessment :

    To be hired, you’ll take an open‑book qualification exam that determines suitability for the position and complete ID verification. We will provide guidelines and learning materials before the exam, which you can complete within a specified timeframe at your convenience.
