About the Role

This is a permanent part-time opportunity that would ideally suit a senior student (however all considered) to join our Morrinsville team. Hours of work will be Saturdays - 8 : 00 am to 12 : 30 pm (4.5 hours) .

  • Helping our customers with their product enquiries, taking them through options to ensure we deliver the best value for their project (able to be friendly and helpful).
  • Ensuring after sales processes are completed (attention to detail).
  • Assisting in the yard; preparing customer orders and ensuring stock levels are maintained and presented with pride (physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber will be needed).

Skills and Experience

While experience in customer service or farming may be an advantage, as full training will be provided , it is more important that you are able to demonstrate :

  • Self-motivation and reliability.
  • Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
  • A friendly, energetic and positive personality.
  • Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber / posts with a commitment to safe work practices.
  • A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
