The School of Health & Counselling is seeking a skilled Literacy Lecturer to support our NZ Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways programme, which serves as a bridging pathway into Nursing and Health programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in bridging or foundation programmes, and a strong understanding of literacy concepts contextualised to health sciences. Knowledge of health‑related science would be an advantage, as the role involves working closely with subject specialists to prepare students for success in higher‑level health qualifications.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person who has the drive and passion for teaching excellence. A tertiary teaching qualification at Level 5 or NCALE (vocational) will be beneficial in this exciting opportunity.
