Sample Reception / Entry Level Technician - Asbestos Unit (Auckland)

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to join our friendly and close-knit team based in Parnell, Auckland

THE ROLE

3-month fixed term position

is available for a Sample Reception / Entry Level Laboratory Technician in the Auckland Asbestos analysis team.

This role is

20 hours a week

between the hours of 7am - 7pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a varied and dynamic position where you'll play a key part in our sample reception process.

You'll also support the team with general lab administration, reception duties, and some sample preparation.

Please note, some lifting is involved.

What you'll be doing

Receiving and logging samples into our system

Supporting laboratory operations with admin and prep tasks

Assisting the team with other duties as needed

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a laboratory setting and contribute to meaningful work in environmental safety.

No experience necessary, all training will be given.
