Project Manager - Northern Regions

OverviewProject Manager - Covering Northern Regions.

Location : Warrington, with travelling to the Northern Regions.

Full UK Driving Licence required.Salary : £38,000 - £48,000 per annum + Yearly Bonus + Company Car.

Role involves overseeing complex, high-value building projects for the Site Accommodation business unit, ensuring safety, programme and cost control, and providing support on smaller projects when not on large-scale assignments.ResponsibilitiesProject Management : deliver projects in accordance with H&S and CDM regulations and good practice.Manage and oversee project installations and dismantles within planned costs and timescales.Provide pre-order support to commercial staff to minimize risks for post-order delivery.Assist with Project Launch, manage variations, and ensure launch processes are implemented on all projects.Maintain detailed project plans (e.g., Gantt charts) and update regularly to ensure relevance.Establish and maintain variation request processes with clients throughout project delivery.Essential CriteriaProven Project Management experienceExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex / high-value building projectsAbility to work productively in a high-pressure environmentStrong judgement, communication, and collaborative skillsFull UK Driving LicenceProject Management qualification (PMQ preferred)CSCS Card to MAP LevelQualifications HighlightSenior Project Manager with the ability to travel and possibly stay overnightBenefits & Opportunities25 days Annual Leave + bank holidays; option to buy 5 extra daysFlexible working principlesContributory pension; Yearly Bonus; Company Car (electric if available)Health and wellbeing services; volunteering day; fully funded professional qualificationsCareer progression opportunities within PortakabinAbout PortakabinPortakabin designs and delivers high-quality modular buildings for organisations of all sizes across sectors including manufacturing, education, healthcare, transport, utilities, and construction.
