The role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative secondary mathematics teacher to join our dedicated team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching mathematics from Y9 to NCEA Level 3.

You will have a deep understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and be able to create engaging, student-centred learning experiences that cater to a diverse range of learners.

We are looking for a teacher who is not only passionate about mathematics but also deeply committed to building positive relationships with students.

The ideal candidate will be :

Trained and NZ registered : Holds current New Zealand teacher registration and is familiar with the NZ Curriculum.

Currently residing in New Zealand.

Skilled in Positive Classroom Management : Has proven skills and experience in implementing Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) and Restorative Practices to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Student-focused : Able to build strong connections with students and is committed to their holistic development and wellbeing.

Collaborative : A team player who is keen to contribute to mathematics and the wider life of the school.
