BEUMER Group New Zealand is seeking a
Maintenance Planner
to coordinate maintenance activities for our logistics & BHS systems at Auckland Airport.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing spare parts logistics, ensuring seamless collaboration across technical and operational teams, and assisting with planning and scheduling maintenance.
Your expertise will play a key role in maximising system uptime, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our airport partners.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be the go-to person for managing spare parts and assisting maintenance teams across our automated systems.
Your responsibilities will include :
Maintain maintenance schedules for automated systems and equipment.
Interpret maintenance requirements from service teams and technical documentation.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of spare parts.
Manage CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities, parts usage, and costs.
Liaise with technicians and engineers to plan corrective maintenance and repairs.
Manage CMMS systems with part movements and pricing.
Liaise with logistics teams for delivery coordination.
Conduct periodic stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in parts and maintenance handling.
Success in this role means managing precise maintenance schedules, reducing downtime due to part shortages, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
We welcome applicants who meet the following criteria :
Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred)
NZ Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent
Certificate in Industrial Measurement and Control (Level 4 or 5) for automation-specific roles
3+ years of experience in asset management, maintenance planning, or industrial automation
Experience in automation, manufacturing, or industrial technology sectors
Exposure to ERP systems and customer-facing environments
Proficiency in CMMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Inventory management, stocktake execution, and discrepancy reconciliation
Maintenance scheduling and coordination of corrective tasks
Technical documentation handling and spare parts interpretation
Familiarity with automation systems and industrial equipment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
Customer service orientation and stakeholder collaboration
Adaptability in dynamic operational environments
Initiative and self-management with a continuous improvement mindset
