Finance Business Partner

Overview

Wellington Water is seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide support for the relevant business group(s) by working across all councils providing financial insights and commercial advice to enable effective decision making. This role acts as the finance representative for the business group(s) and represents Wellington Water to council infrastructure and finance teams for financial matters pertaining to the council.

Location : Based in our Petone office close to the beach and shops.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to managers and council, delivering reporting and insights to enable decision making
• Compile portfolio budgets and forecasts, ensuring that these are robust, realistic and align to organisational deliverables
• Support projects teams to draft business cases and undertake project evaluations
• Provide back-up to other team members
