As a Salesforce Project Officer, you will be coming into play a vital role within Defence Recruiting.Defence Recruiting (DR) aims to meet the recruit targets set by each of the Services (Army, Navy, Air Force), while supporting the quantity, quality and diversity required by the NZDF. Quantity means meeting targets set by workforce planners. Quality means recruiting people who will perform and contribute to the organisation over time. Diversity means generating a diverse workforce by recruiting from all talent pools.We are about to embark on a new phase of work and are looking for an individual that will be central to continually improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform for our organisation.We will be establishing a new instance and like our existing one, it will be of great importance to us as it is used to manage an applicant's journey through to employment.We are looking for someone who can quickly assess the situation and take ownership of programmatic requests. You will work alongside a team and collaborate on specifications, validate the proposals, and deliver solutions.Some responsibilities include :
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Deliver full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.This is fixed term opportunity expected to last 12 months.

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following experiences :
Proven experience as a Salesforce Project Manager or similar role.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and its functionalities.
Excellent project management skills, including managing large, complex projects.
Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator would be advantageous.You will also need :
Able to work independently.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other team members.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
You must have a five (5) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.If you do not meet the minimum criteria, unfortunately, your application will not be accepted.
