Opportunity
Our client : Government-affiliated Science Agency
Working Location : One-North Proximity
Basic Salary : Up to $8,000 (commensurate with experience)
Working hours : Mon - Fri, 8 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM
6 months contract (subject to conversion)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit materials for safety licensing and regulatory permits.
Design, establish, and digitize inventory and safety management systems, including implementing LIMS and ELN platforms.
Plan, implement, and optimize lab layout and infrastructure for R&D inventory using Lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Kanban).
Coordinate selection, purchase, delivery, and commissioning of scientific equipment and consumables.
Test-run and troubleshoot workflows to ensure smooth operations.
Propose and implement process improvements, including automation, while maintaining compliance with established frameworks.
Job Requirements
3+ years of experience managing laboratory operations in chemistry or biochemistry R&D.
Proven experience in setting up a greenfield (new) or brownfield (existing) facility.
Strong track record or demonstrated passion for operational excellence.
