Secondary Social Science Teacher 0.8 Fte (Gore)

In this 0.8FTE position, you will be required to teach social sciences to Y11, 12 and 13 students, history and / or geography. Please state your subject specialty in your application. At One School Global we teach NCEA so previous experience with the NCEA curriculum is required. It is also an advantage to also be able to teach junior social studies.

Qualifications and experience :

• Current registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
• Expertise in teaching Social Science at the secondary level incl NCEA
• Strong commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with self-directed learning models and technology driven learning
• Strong digital skills with the ability to teach through multiple mediums
