Domestic Services Manager

This is a permanent full-time position at the Kakanui Point property, 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway, Kaukapakapa. The Domestic Services Manager will manage the domestic cleaning, maintenance and security of the buildings and surrounding areas including decks, swimming pool, paved areas and outdoor furniture. The role includes supervising staff and contractors, arranging catering, and coordinating summer activities, communications and related administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement work plans and projects approved by the General Manager on an annual basis and regularly review progress.
• Clean, tidy and service four residences, swimming pool buildings, the Lodge, Boat Shed and any future buildings to agreed standards.
• Supervise permanent staff and contractors approved by the General Manager, engaged to complete projects.
• Work with horticultural, livestock, housekeeping, general maintenance and mechanical staff to ensure essential services are provided and maintained effectively.
