Landscape Department 2Ic - Mitre 10 Mega Ferrymead

We're looking for a reliable and energetic 2IC to support our Landscape Team at Mitre 10 Ferrymead.

About the Role

As 2IC, you'll be working hands-on in the elements, assisting customers with their landscaping projects and supporting the department lead in day-to-day operations.

This is a physically active role that involves customer service, stock management, and maintaining a safe and tidy yard environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on landscaping products

Support the department Team Leader with team coordination and daily operations

Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control

Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently

Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times

Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming outdoor space

What We're Looking For

A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

A valid forklift license - WTR endorsement is even better

Experience in retail, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role

Confidence working outdoors in all weather conditions

Great communication and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
