KM Projects Limited T / A Affordable Construction are currently looking for a Construction Project Administrator to join their team located in Mount Eden Road, Auckland. The Construction Project Administrator provides essential administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. This role involves assisting project managers with preparing and reviewing contracts for contractors, scheduling, record keeping, communication, and compliance tasks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
The role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week). The rate of pay offered is between $62,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The sucessful applicant must have at least 3 years administration or similar experience.
The responsibilities of a Construction Project Administrator are :
Project Coordination & Support
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including preparing contracts, assisting with building permits / consents, maintaining schedules, and progress reports / tracking.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Communicate and coordinate stakeholders with regards to scheduling, remediation of any identified issues and any other ad hoc matters.
- Support project manager with administrative tasks, procurement processes, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
- Monitor project timelines, costs, deliverables, and milestones to ensure progress remains on track and on cost.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of correspondence, plans, specifications, and drawings.Manage document control systems.Process invoices, timesheets, and expense claims.Provide general office and site administration support to project manager.Health, Safety, and Compliance
Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Support the collection and filing of site safety documentation, inductions, and incident reports.Coordinate subcontractor prequalification and ensure required certifications are up to date.Communication and Liaison
Serve as a key point of contact between subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Facilitate effective communication between office and site personnel (contractors).Support preparation of client reports, presentations, and updates.
