The opportunity
The Contract Manager role is a critical Utilities senior leadership team (SLT) role responsible for the leadership, growth and operational oversight of single Water contracts, project, or joint venture with revenue below $35M.
What you\'ll do
Use governance forums, reporting, forecasting and planning processes to ensure we have the resources and capability in place to deliver on our promises to customers, now and in future
Ensure resources and strategies are in place to manage financial and commercial risks aimed at achieving positive and sustainable outcomes
People leadership, including talent management, resourcing, inclusion and retention
Prepare Contract variations and retention of existing Contracts
Profitability, Growth and Cost management including Margin Improvement
Implementing commercial risk and issue management
Deliver strategic management of internal and external relationships, with a culture of value-added partnerships

What we\'re looking for
Experience managing operational budget setting and realisation in the infrastructure engineering, construction and maintenance industries
Extensive knowledge of organisational, management and leadership practices
Ability to manage a portfolio of contracts / projects of varying size and complexity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience reporting to senior decision makers
Accomplished to lead operational delivery of capital projects and service contracts that are both a combination of self-perform, and subcontract partner delivery models
Exposure of mobilising large contracts and workforces on a greenfield and / or brownfield basis
