Your Role
Here's what you will be doing :
Provide exceptional veterinary care to patients, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
Conduct routine herd health checks, fertility management, and disease prevention.
Perform surgical procedures and treatments as required.
Engage clients in improving animal and farm performance, delivering value-adding services.
Maintain detailed clinical records and provide timely reporting.
Collaborate with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional client service.
Participate in an after-hours on-call roster for urgent animal health issues.
Work within a 1 Vet : 2 Veterinary Technician workforce supporting on-farm partnerships and farm plan execution.
Utilize Herbie, a custom software system designed for Dairy Vets, to manage Animal Health Plans, scripts, and objectives.
About You
The company is looking for :
A Veterinary degree.
A passion for the New Zealand Agri sector and a hunger to grow and make an impact on farm.
Ability to scan cattle, assess sick cows, and provide herd health solutions.
Strong relationship-building skills based on trust with farmers and teammates.
A curious mindset to innovate within the Agri Veterinary industry.
