Job descriptionO pukenga / Skills and Experience Reporting to the Manager Communications Delivery, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, the successful candidate will demonstrate : a minimum of 5 years' experience in communications and / or stakeholder engagement, with demonstrable experience in a senior advisory role proven ability to develop and execute communications strategies and plans that drive stakeholder engagement exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills, with a knack for distilling complex information into clear and compelling content exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders understanding of current and emerging digital communication trends and platforms an understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency experience, knowledge, skills and capabilities to confidently communicate and engage with Maori kaimahi, whanau, hapu and iwi experience coaching and mentoring other communications professionals.At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to strengthening people's trust in the law.Our Communications and Ministerial Services team plays a crucial role in connecting the Ministry with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Joining Te Tahu o te Ture means you will become part of an organisation that welcomes and supports people of all gender identities, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, disabilities and religions.
