About Your Role

For this junior-level role, the designer is responsible for engineering and design-related tasks focusing on composites and mechanical engineering (covering yacht masts, booms). They will ensure tasks are completed in full, on time, and in specification (IFOTIS) while meeting the performance goals set. You will :

• Produce design as required to meet the design office and production schedules.
• Work to Southern Spars’ standard procedures and policies, to ensure your design output is of the required quality and accuracy.
• Work with other departments to assist their efforts to meet planned and unplanned task deadlines.
• Work with all staff in establishing and maintaining a satisfying and productive work environment for all Design Office staff.
• Annual salary $75,000 based on 40 hours weekly
